Best game on NG but not perfect
You really did it although there is a big flaw: your attempt to balance the weapons, they turned out too unreliable.
1. The damage problem
The Beretta 92 FS (9x19mm Parabellum) has 4 damage, the Magnum has 10 damage, the Thompson sub-machine gun (.45 ACP) has 2 damage, the Glock 18C (9x19mm Parabellum) has 2 damage, the TAR-21 (5.56x45mm NATO) has 3 damage. And when it comes to shotguns, the PANCOR Jackhammer has half of the damage of the Lever-Shotgun and M-1187. What's the point of balancing damage with fire rate and magazine capacity? It just removes the fun from the game.
2. The accuracy problem
Not only the fully-automatic Thompson (which you start with) and the Glock 18c inflict less damage but they simply spray bullets. If you never played it, you should check out Madness Interactive, the first bullet is laser-like accurate but it gets more difficult to control until you release the mouse button while here it doesn't matter if you fire short bursts or hold until the clip is empty. All the guns have weak accuracy, it should be no problem to hit enemies in the visual area. While shotguns are effective since you can inflict one hit headshots at close range, the spread of the pellets is just messed up.
